These terms govern your use of HonestHours (the website and Telegram bot). By starting a trial, subscribing, or using the bot, you agree to them and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Who provides the service
HonestHours is offered by HonestHours, an individual service provider based in Argentina. Contact: support@honesthours.app.
The service
HonestHours sends periodic accountability check-ins on Telegram, stores your replies, and delivers daily reports and exports (CSV/JSON). It is not a billing time tracker, legal time record, or professional coaching service. We do not guarantee specific productivity, income, or health outcomes.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You need a Telegram account and must comply with Telegram's terms. One free trial per Telegram identity, ever.
Acceptable use
Do not use HonestHours for unlawful purposes, harassment, spam, or to monitor another person without their consent. You are responsible for the content you submit in check-ins. We may suspend access for abuse or non-payment.
Free trial
Eligible first-time users receive a 7-day trial with bot check-ins, reports, and exports. Home and the prompt library unlock only after paid checkout. When the trial ends without payment, prompts stop until you subscribe.
Paid plans and pricing
Prices and currencies are shown on the Plans and Checkout pages before you pay (USD for international checkout; ARS for Argentina via Mercado Pago unless stated otherwise). Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled. Taxes may apply depending on your location; displayed prices are as shown at checkout.
Argentina launch offer
If shown at checkout, the launch price (e.g. ARS 4,999/month) applies once per account for the first paid month. Subsequent months bill at the standard price published on the site (e.g. ARS 6,999/month) through Mercado Pago until you cancel.
Cancellation
You can cancel from Account → Subscription. Trial: ends access immediately when canceled during trial. Paid: renewals stop; access continues until the end of the current paid period. If you subscribed through Mercado Pago, also cancel the preapproval in Mercado Pago if you want to stop future charges there.
Refunds
Digital subscriptions are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Payment disputes should first be raised with us at support@honesthours.app; card or wallet chargebacks without contacting us may lead to account suspension.
Argentine consumers
If you are a consumer in Argentina, Law 24,240 (Defensa del Consumidor) applies. You have the right to clear information about price, renewal, and cancellation. For distance contracts, you may have a 10-day right of withdrawal where the law applies and the service has not been fully performed with your express consent. Claims can be filed with national consumer protection authorities.
International users
If you access HonestHours from outside Argentina, you are importing a digital service from Argentina. Local consumer laws may also apply in your country. You are responsible for compliance with local regulations on your side.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." Telegram, payment providers, and hosting may experience outages outside our control. Reports reflect what you logged — they are not certified records for employment, legal, or tax purposes unless you independently validate them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim related to HonestHours is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or USD 100 if you only used the free trial). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages.
Changes
We may update these terms or prices with notice on the site. Material changes to paid subscriptions take effect on the next renewal after notice, or as required by law. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina. Courts in Argentina have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
